Acceptance and scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of the HiCalculator iPhone app, related Pro features, and support services. By downloading, accessing, or using HiCalculator, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Apple’s App Store terms and any applicable Apple standard or custom end-user license agreement also apply to your download and purchases. If these Terms conflict with mandatory terms that apply in your location, those mandatory terms control to the extent of the conflict.

Limited license

Subject to these Terms, the operator of HiCalculator grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to download and use HiCalculator on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal and lawful use.

The app is licensed, not sold. Except for the limited license above, no right, title, or interest in HiCalculator, its software, design, names, or other intellectual property is transferred to you.

Acceptable use

HiCalculator provides a functional calculator and private on-device storage features. You may use it only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.

You may not: use the app to harm others; store or distribute content you do not have the right to possess or use; interfere with the app or its security; attempt to bypass purchase, entitlement, or access controls; use the app for unlawful activity; or reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Passcodes, devices, and security

You are responsible for safeguarding your iPhone, vault passcodes, decoy passcode, security answers, backup passwords, and any device or account used with HiCalculator. Anyone with access to your unlocked device or credentials may be able to access your information.

Backups, exports, and recovery

Backups and exports are optional and remain your responsibility. Before deleting, resetting, replacing, or transferring a device, verify that you have a usable backup and know the backup password. iCloud availability depends on Apple, your Apple account, network access, available storage, and Apple’s services.

We do not guarantee recovery of deleted, inaccessible, corrupted, or lost information. Uninstalling the app, deleting content, losing a passcode, or losing a backup password may permanently prevent access to your data.

Purchases and subscriptions

Pro features may be offered as subscriptions or other in-app purchases through Apple. Before you confirm a purchase, Apple presents the price, billing period, trial terms if any, renewal terms, and included features. Availability and pricing may vary by region.

Apple manages billing, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and purchase records. You can manage eligible subscriptions through your Apple ID settings and use Restore Purchases in HiCalculator for eligible prior purchases. A successful payment does not remove your responsibility to maintain access to your passcodes and backups.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you place in HiCalculator. You represent that you have the rights needed to store and use that content and that doing so does not violate law or another person’s rights. Because vault content is designed to remain on your device or in backups you control, you are responsible for its legality, accuracy, security, and preservation.

Availability and third-party services

We may update, add, remove, or discontinue features to improve security, comply with law, or maintain the app. The app may depend on iOS, Apple, RevenueCat, Google Mobile Ads, websites you visit, and other third parties. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee their services, content, availability, or privacy practices.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HiCalculator is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the app will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with every device or iOS version, or able to prevent every loss of data or access.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of HiCalculator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or access arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes and termination

You may stop using HiCalculator at any time. We may restrict or end access to features where required by law or in response to serious misuse. We may update these Terms when the app, our services, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated through the app or website when appropriate.
