Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how HiCalculator handles information when you use the HiCalculator iPhone app, its optional backup features, and this website. In this policy, “HiCalculator,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the operator of the HiCalculator app.
HiCalculator is designed to work without a HiCalculator account. We do not operate a server that receives or stores the photos, videos, notes, attachments, passwords, contacts, bookmarks, or private browsing information you put in the vault.
“On your device” does not mean that no other company ever processes data. Apple, RevenueCat, Google Mobile Ads, your email provider, and websites you choose to visit may process limited information for their own services, as described below.

Vault data and local security information
Content you choose to store
Vault photos, videos, notes, attachments, passwords, contacts, bookmarks, and private-browser information are processed in HiCalculator’s private app storage on your iPhone. We do not receive a copy of this content on servers operated by HiCalculator.
Passcodes and recovery information
Your vault passcode, decoy passcode, security answers, and backup password are intended to remain local to your device. We do not receive them, do not hold a master key, and cannot use them to unlock your vault or restore an encrypted backup.
Security events
Features such as auto-lock, failed-attempt records, and security reports may create information on your device so that the feature can work. That information is not sent to a HiCalculator server.
Private browser
When you use the private browser, your device connects to the websites you choose. Those websites and their providers may receive normal web-request information, such as your IP address, device or browser information, cookies, and the page requested, under their own privacy policies. HiCalculator does not send your vault content to those websites.

Device permissions
HiCalculator may request iOS permissions only when they are needed for a feature you choose to use, such as adding or managing content, using contacts, or using device authentication. You can review or withdraw granted permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Refusing a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but does not prevent you from using unrelated features.

Optional encrypted iCloud backup
Pro users may choose to create an encrypted backup and copy it to their personal Apple iCloud container. This feature is off until you enable it. The backup is encrypted on your iPhone before it is copied to iCloud. We do not receive the archive, its contents, or a recovery key.
You are responsible for protecting the backup password and managing backup copies in your Apple account. Apple provides and processes iCloud under its own terms and privacy policy. Deleting the app, changing devices, or removing an iCloud copy can affect whether content remains available.

Third parties and information they may process
Apple
Apple provides the App Store, in-app purchase infrastructure, and, if enabled, iCloud storage. Apple may process download, purchase, subscription, refund, account, and service information under its own policies. See Apple’s App Store & Privacy information.
RevenueCat
RevenueCat helps us verify purchases, restore eligible purchases, and determine whether a Pro entitlement is active. To provide those functions, it may process product identifiers, transaction status, app or device identifiers, and technical information. Vault content is not required for purchase verification. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.
Google Mobile Ads
The free version may display non-personalized ads. Google Mobile Ads may process limited device, network, diagnostic, ad-delivery, and ad-interaction information to provide, secure, and measure ads. HiCalculator is not designed to provide vault content to Google Mobile Ads. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Support
If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. Do not send passcodes, security answers, backup passwords, encryption keys, or private vault content. Support messages may be retained as described in “Retention and deletion.”

Your choices and controls
- You choose what to store in the vault and can delete vault content from the app.
- You can keep iCloud backup disabled, enable it, create or delete backups, and manage iCloud storage through your Apple account.
- You can manage subscriptions and other App Store purchases through your Apple ID settings.
- You can review iOS permissions in device settings.
- You can choose whether to contact support and what non-sensitive information to include.
- You can control cookies and privacy choices for websites you visit in the private browser through those websites and your device settings.

Retention and deletion
Information stored in the vault remains on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or uninstall the app. Deleting the app may permanently remove locally stored information. Exports and iCloud backups are separate copies that you must manage yourself.
We retain support messages only as long as reasonably needed to answer your request, maintain a support record, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. Apple, RevenueCat, Google, and websites you visit apply their own retention practices.

Children’s privacy
HiCalculator is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through support, so we can review the request.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, when a change is material, provide notice through the app or website when appropriate.
